yes the comparison commercials are really bad...

2 that are my 'favorites':
the pilsbury pastry vs the pop tart.....first of all they arent really comparable as pilsbury wants you to think....the pastry MUST be kept frozen and if you decide to NOT use the ultra sugared frosting, the pastry tastes like paper....so its bad to begin with.. Now pop tarts are very portable--you can put them in your kids lunches, you can take them to the movies (if you have a big pocket or purse) you can eat them straight from the box or toast them (and even though it says not too---you can nuke them for a few seconds); AND they come in tons of flavors!! (pastry has what 2?)....no comparison! pop tarts wins

and the 2nd one I hate....the total vs kashi.....ok they are both breakfast cereals but thats about where it stops in comparison ....total is trying to say that kashi doesnt have all the vits/minerals, well yeah thats not what they are about!!!!!! Kashi is all natural, has raisins, nuts, etc....it doesnt boast having a full days amount of all the vitamins and minerals you are supposed to get by actually eating correctly! Kashi doesnt have commercials bashing other breakfast cereals.....why does total think it needs them????

and the insurance ones....I just hate giko so I wont even go there. (and yeah I spelled in wrong on purpose)

oh sorry....ranting again....

short story....I hate the comparison commercials too.

Poptarts ftw and nty I had my fill of turkey...was dry to no end. Also those comparison commercials suck...(/sigh)I miss the commercials with Billy Mays.. R.I.P. Billy(goes to watch the old commercials on youtube).

I always mute billy mays commercials, his voice just grates on my nerves.

dry turkey....it was overcooked....you dont need to cook it that long really! I have never had a dry turkey (take it out at 160F and let it sit---it doesnt need to be 190!!!!!)

yep, most commercials are muted or the channel changed (those are usually the ones selling me stuff that I have ....well, no need EVER for seeing as I am female, hint hint)....late at night is the worst time for bad commercials. Though day time has its low points as well (really how many diaper commercials do we need in a half hour program????)

Makes you want to stop watching live tv.....which my hubby is all for---he downloads what he wants to watch and watches it when he wants to without commercials!

the pie is all gone, the turkey has taken a few good hits but still has a few meals left in it, and somehow the potatoes are still here too---will do them in tomorrow

and give me back my cookies!

There are still a few good shows on but for the most part they are crap. I hate commercials, I almost always flip unless my gf has the remote. Then she stays on the same channel. >.>
